Recipe Scrapbook Idea 1 - Theme Album – This would be a fun idea for a gift. You could do a holiday theme or a newly married theme or superbowl party recipes or back yard BBQ recipes. You could put a menu together and then include each recipe that goes with that. Maybe even include a shopping list. They could be for yourself or a gift.

Recipe Scrapbook Idea 2 - Rolodex Album – I originally saw the idea for a rolodex album in
Donna Downey's
Book Creative Albums. And I LOVED it! So, I made one myself. It isn't a recipe book but it could easily be adapted to that. If I made one, I would choose a recipe card and then place it inside a ziploc bag before I cooked from it...to keep it from getting messy. Here is my video:

is a super elaborate paper bag album. You could do something much simpler but you have to admire the work that went into this one. I have made paperbag books and what I love most about them is the pockets. You can include so many things in so many places in these albums. - I found a great article with photos all about making a recipe tin with your favorite cocktail recipes. You can include photos of the people who make them or when you drink them. : )
I can't remember where I first heard about making scrapbook mini albums out of tins but I got a book called
Art Tins by Pinecone Press
and learned everything I needed to know. Here is one of the albums I made: (not a recipe album but you could adapt it)
