Hey, Ya'll,

I have been having SO much fun working through Sandy Krieger's free digital scrapbooking class over at TwoPeasinaBucket.com. I've been learning about how to make stickers, how to cut out a photo, how to use the shape tool, how to always start a new layer... : ) and, well, tons of other cool stuff! I've been doing it just a little bit at a time...with my timer...so I don't get overwhelmed.

This month, I'm bringing you 2 layouts that I created using many of the techniques I've learned from Sandy. So, without further drama... here is the link for the class! Ok, just in case you missed it...

Here is the link for the digital class I've been talking about!!!

What's New?

Free Scrapbooking Stuff I've added a 2-page layout and a 1-page layout on this page. The 2-page is a "family" layout. I've used polka dot patterned paper, circle punch outs, clear dimension dots, and vellum journaling blocks to create this fun layout of extended family.

Scrapbooking Designs See my 2-page golf layout! I've used papers from SEI, eyelets, wire, polka dot patterned paper and some fun photos to create the designs for this page. You'll also see a layout I did about my son and his great grandmother.

12 x 12 Layout Ideas -

Typical

I called this one "Typical" because of the way each of my boys looks. It is just that...typical. My husband took these at the pumpkin patch last year and they are so fun...we have a photo from the year before that in front of the same wagon. : )It is hard to tell where the 12 x 12 layout ends and the white background of the ezine starts. I created the patterned paper strips with a technique I learned from the class at TwoPeas. They are papers from the free kit from this month at Peppermintcreative.com. The kit is called Little Buckaroo. The title tag is also from the same kit. The little staples are from Correene Silke's kit called ChoreDay from ComputerScrapbook.com. I'm not going to be able to do "how to" videos for all my layouts, but you should be able to learn what you need to know from the class at TwoPeas. Have fun!!!

My Big Cowboy -

Everything except the "N" came from the Little Buckaroo kit from Peppermingcreative.com. It is a free download this month. Go get yours and create your own cowboy scrapbook layout! The "N" came from a kit called Oakley from ComputerScrapbook.com. I learned how to cut out the photo from one of Sandy Krieger's lessons in the TwoPeas class I've been talking about. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be.

What about next month?

I'm not sure yet...still thinking I'll be working some more on this class. I might add some to my rolodex album? We'll see...stay tuned to Youtube to find out.

Until sometime around the middle of March…

Send Me Your Layouts...

I’d love to see what you’ve been up to. I’ll pick 2 or 3 for each issue and publish them along with your photo (if you want) and a bio about your real life scrapbooking adventures. So, send them to Rachel@free-scrapbooking-ideas-and-videos.com with “e-zine layout submission” in the subject line.
