Hey, Ya'll,

Summer is winding down so maybe I only have a few weeks of yard work left for the season. I harvested my butternut squash and I'm still picking blackberries. It has been so dry I haven't had to mow in a bit. As much as I enjoy all of that, it doesn't leave as much time for scrapbooking. So this ezine is a bit late. But I am very happy with the layouts I accomplished. Thank you, Lord!

"Mom, snake's teeth are sharp..."

Wow! The joys of having boys. My son said, "Mom, snake's teeth are sharp and then told me that he opened the snake's (dead) mouth and then put his finger in it and closed it down on his finger. Aaaack! I'm getting more and more used to having boys but it is quite an adventure!
I spent some time watching a couple lessons from Sandy Kreiger's Photoshop Elements class over at TwoPeasinaBucket.com and learned some new fun stuff about text. So I used what I learned to create the title for this layout. The lesson is called Designing with Text.

Supplies:

Background paper - One Fish Two Fish kit - green swirls
Checked paper - Moments in Time kit - paper 4
Buttons - One Fish Two Fish kit - button gold and button medium brown
Slide - One Fish Two Fish kit - slide
Red ribbon - Moments in Time kit - ribbon 3
Glitter arrows - Sea Swept kit - arrows

All kits are from ComputerScrapbook.com

It was fun to mix and match. I've learned most of what I know from TwoPeasinaBucket.com.
They have an awesome FREE class!

This is what you get...

I love this photo of my son. It is so him! Sometimes it takes him forever to eat and he'll sit and "goofball" as I call it forever. One day I walked by the table and this is what he was doing. I posted this layout on Facebook and one of my Mom's friends commented and said her son used to stand on his head too. She said it drove her crazy. : )I used what I learned about text from the TwoPeas class for this title as well. Fun!

Supplies:

All of the supplies for this layout are from the No Creed Boy kit from ComputerScrapbook.com

What about next month?

You just never know. We'll see...stay tuned to Youtube to find out.

Until sometime around the middle of September…
