Hey, Ya'll,

Well, I mowed for the first time this season. Spring is here or so it seems. It may get cold again but it is hard to believe that right now. We've also done a lot of weeding and other yard work so it makes it feel like Spring.

School Heritage

This layout is all about My Dad and his role in my life while I was growing up. I recently found this family schedule that he made years ago. We used it to know what each person in the family was supposed to be doing at a certain time of the day...there's nothing like a spreadsheet. He was always the super organized, analytical type. And I still love to use spreadsheets today.

I inked around the spreadsheet with my sepia ink pad and used the sepia to stamp around my name at the top of the spreadsheet to highlight it. I used some foam stamps to stamp the title and attached the tone on tone floral print with staples. I then used a clear stamp to stamp the word "school" as a border. I have a lot to say about this topic so I plan to journal on the back.

Supplies: Background paper - From the Specialty Paper Pad from Cloud 9 Design.
Circle Stamp from Technique Tuesday - Infinite Wisdom

Mud

Oh the mud pictures we have around here!!! Where there are boys there is mud. I used a plain white piece of card stock for the background of this layout. Then I added the harlequin pattern in a strip along the left side. I used some stamps from Stampin Up on the intersections of the harlequins. The title was stamped using foam stamps. Finally, I added the hand journaling.

Supplies: Harlequin pattern from My Mind's Eye #BH1056A

What about next month?

You just never know. We'll see...stay tuned to Youtube to find out.

Until sometime around the middle of April
