Hey, Ya'll,

It's been Summer home school and hail damage repair/paperwork around here for the last little while. Oh yeah, and did I mention yard work and gardening? : ) Anyway, I ran out of time for the June edition so I'm sending out the July edition early and Lord willing, I'll send out August's edition the middle of August. I really enjoyed working on these layouts the last couple of weeks, though. I love the NO MESS part of digital scrapbooking. You do have to organize and clean up files but at least it isn't spread out all over a table.

What's New?

8 x 8 Baby Album
I finally finished my baby album - 7 years after he was born! There's hope, everyone! You can do it too! Just set your timer and do 15 minutes at a time. See what I'm talking about.

Beach Themed Layout

We didn't actually make it to the beach, but we did get to walk on the pier that evening. We took a trip to my Grandmother's in South Alabama at the first of June. I love the way this layout turned out. I am still a newbie to digital and sometimes I'm not so happy with my finished product. I like the subtle beach theme in this layout, though, ...not too much...just enough.

Supplies:

2 different digital scrapbook kits from ComputerScrapbook.com
Kit #1 - Jen Reed Moments in Time
Kit #2 - Sea Swept
It was fun to mix and match. I've learned most of what I know from TwoPeasinaBucket.com.
They have an awesome FREE class!

Thank You, Lord

This is a Before and After themed layout. I had a photo of what our house looked like before the new roof, some photos of the shingles sitting in the yard, the new roof "in progress" and the finished product...OUR NEW ROOF - THANK YOU, LORD! What a blessing! We had been talking for a while now about needing a new roof in the near future and what a large expense that was going to be. God decided to provide it for us via a hail storm. I don't want to sound too insensitive. I know a lot of people had horrible things happen during all the recent bad weather. But I am thankful for our new roof. So, I decided to create a layout focusing on it.

Supplies:

Teal Tranquility Digital Scrapbook Kit from ComputerScrapbook.com
